Job Description

DynamiCare Health seeks a Certified Recovery Coach to serve as a Contingency Management (CM) Guide to our Members. DynamiCare Health is an innovative tele-health recovery program that combines the best in technology, evidence-based interventions, and peer support to empower, support, and motivate people who want to quit, maintain abstinence, or change their use of drugs, alcohol, and nicotine products. DynamiCare’s services include abstinence based drug and alcohol recovery support, as well as wellness support for people who have identified smoking, vaping, or excessive alcohol use (but do not meet criteria for AUD), as behaviors that they would like to change.

DynamiCare members utilize an app on their smartphone where they complete recovery related activities, and in doing so, earn small immediate financial rewards. This intervention is known as Contingency Management, and helps to retrain the brain to value positive, recovery based activities. Rewards are provided via a smart debit card that blocks access to bars, liquor stores, and cash withdrawals, and excessive spending. Contingency Management Guides (CM Guides) are matched with individuals in order to help maximize their DynamiCare Experience. CM Guides and approved healthcare providers can see detailed data about participants’ progress through the DynamiCare Analytics portal, which sends real-time risk alerts when clients are in trouble. DynamiCare is a highly evidence-based, cost-effective, and scalable solution to one of the largest problems facing healthcare.

Activities that our members complete include; self-guided therapy modules (CBT), appointment scheduling and check-in (verified by GPS), as well as random saliva and breathalyzer substance testing through selfie video. The remote substance testing promotes accountability while upholding dignity and removing the barrier of having to present to a specific location to complete a substance test and/or breathalyzer.

Members meet weekly with their Recovery Coach throughout their program via videoconferencing. Together the Member and CM Guide develop a SMART recovery goal for the Member to work towards. CM Guides are an integral part of our member’s success as they are not only a guide, mentor, resource coordinator, accountability partner, and advocate; but also a peer support to share wisdom, helpful tips, and real life recovery experience. At DynamiCare we believe that recovery is possible, and achievable, and strive to embody the message of hope in all that we do.

We are seeking a highly social, energetic, and engaging individual with a passion to work with individuals who struggle with substance use.
