Who our Peer Specialist Is:

  • As a vital team member of Outreach, being the person that is the linkage in providing referral services to clients with mental health and co-occurring disorders is a source of passion for you in your career path.
  • You are a self-sufficient person who has expertise in navigating personal life experiences with mental health wellness and co-occurring recovery.
  • You describe yourself someone patient, understanding and an advocate to the community in all thing’s education, counseling, and referrals of services needed in order for a client to reach their individual goals – however long that takes.
  • You are a self-motivated, resilient person who thrives in a clinical environment.
  • You are a team player, who is highly organized and has time management skills.
  • You are well versed in technology and have excellent communication skills.

What our Peer Specialist Needs:

  1. High School Diploma or G.E.D required
  2. Peer specialist certificate holder preferred
