What you’ll be doing:

• Providing peer support and guidance to individuals in recovery from substance use disorders.
• Sharing your personal recovery experience to inspire and assist patients in developing recovery plans.
• Connecting individuals to resources such as housing, employment, education, and social support.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
• Advocating for patients’ needs and helping them navigate challenges in recovery.
• Documenting services provided and maintaining accurate records.

Hours:

Flexible. As our new OASAS program grows, so will the hours. Our early work hours leave plenty of time for you to focus on personal interests, family, or further education in the afternoons and evenings.

• Are certified as a Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA or CRPA-P) in New York State.
• Have lived experience with substance use and are in long-term recovery.
• Are passionate about supporting others on their recovery journey.
