Recovery Peer Advocate

Schoharie County NYS OMH/OASAS certified outpatient clinic seeking highly motivated individual to provide non-clinical, peer-based activities that engage, educate and support individuals in recovery to make necessary life changes through the stabilization phase and into recovery maintenance.

Qualifications: Current certification in the State of New York as a Certified Recovery Peer Advocate-Provisional (CRPA-P); AND current certification in the State of New York as a Certified Peer Specialist-Provisional (NYCPS-P).

Special Requirements: Must obtain full certification of both CRPA and NYCPS within eighteen (18) months of appointment; AND must possess a valid NYS driver’s license or otherwise meet the travel needs of the position.
