Statewide Family Advocacy Specialist

The Office of Mental Health’s Office of Advocacy and Peer Support Services is hiring a Statewide Family Advocacy Specialist to work in our Central Office in Albany.

Preferred qualifications include the following:

• Lived experience navigating the children’s system of care as a parent/caregiver of a child with mental health or other needs.
• Experience as a Family Peer Advocate (e.g., service delivery within a Child and Family Treatment and Support Services program, “1650” program, within schools as a family navigator, or other systems providing lived experience support to a family seeking services)
