Online Peer Supporter – Young Adult
HeyPeersWe are looking for experienced Certified Peer Support Specialists or Certified Peer Recovery Coaches. You will work remotely to facilitate virtual peer support groups on our HeyPeers.com platform. You will need to have availability to work days, evenings and weekends depending on the needs of your peers. Successful candidates will need to have group facilitation skills, excellent verbal communication and strong computer skills. Additionally you must have a stable high-speed internet connection, an up to date version of Microsoft Office, a webcam, and a microphone. Training and support will be provided. At HeyPeers, we’re pioneering the very best in online peer support. None of this happens without our outstanding cadre of peer supporters. We believe in the effectiveness and power of peer support in a person’s recovery journey. To strengthen this core part of HeyPeers, we’re delighted to welcome applications for Peer Supporters. In this role, partner with other members of the Peer Supporter community at HeyPeers to facilitate and manage the very best in online peer support groups. We bring together peers in groups that focus on depression, anxiety, substance use, family and friends, veterans, grief, young adults and others. You will be the facilitator and guide for our meetings of eight to 12 participants. You will be a peer to individuals in the United States and all over the world.
