Virtual Training: Fidelity to Peer Support Values

Join this event to learn about how to stay true to the Peer Support values, and ensure that when working with people their Autonomy is placed first. We will review the values, explore different scenarios, and discuss things to keep in mind during the ethical decision making process.

About the presenter:
Jessi Davis is a leader and advocate in the field of peer support, with extensive experience in mental health and substance use recovery. Jessi has made significant contributions to the peer support community through their previous role as the President of the National Association of Peer Supporters, and they currently serve as a Senior Administrative Program Coordinator at the Texas Institute for Excellence in Mental Health at The University of Texas at Austin along with exploring Independant Consulting opportunities.

Jessi’s work focuses on Youth and Young Adult Peer Support training, technical assistance, and leadership. They have played a pivotal role in developing and promoting peer support services for young people across SAMHSA Region 6. Jessi’s dedication to empowering peers and enhancing the quality of peer support services has earned them recognition on a national level.

With a wealth of practical experience and a strong commitment to fostering recovery in communities, Jessi continuously works to support peers and improve peer support services.
