Exploring Career Paths for Peers

As peers with lived and/or living experiences, we must recognize the courage that comes with exploring job fields and establishing career paths. Although there is a rise of support for employing peers, there are still limitations to retaining and sustaining peer roles. The purpose of this workshop is to explore the rising interest of employing peers across various job fields while recognizing when it is appropriate to be curious or to be cautious. Participants in attendance will learn about rising areas of opportunity and employment for peers, learn ways to assess benefits and risks of career paths, and share lessons learned from their personal experiences of career exploration. Join us on this adventure to learn more about where your career as a peer can go!
