Description: Join Jenn Jones (she/they) and Meghan Hetfield (she/her) to explore Harm Reduction Works-HRW, an inclusive, harm reduction-based approach designed as an alternative to abstinence-only self-help and mutual aid groups. HRW welcomes anyone curious about harm reduction—whether you’re new to the concept, maintaining abstinence, or actively involved in 12-step programs.

The purpose of this training series is to offer an opportunity to members to learn alternative practices, approaches, and ideas, that are rooted in the refreshed mission and vision of the National Association of Peer Supporters. This will be a chance for members to learn more about the direction in which N.A.P.S. is moving, build skills and knowledge, and earn continuing education credits. Each training will last 90 minutes and will incorporate knowledge sharing, participant engagement, and more.
