In-Person Training: The Importance of Self-Care for Families, Parents, Caregivers and Professionals

This training will take place in person at the Brooklyn Public Library, at 1305 Cortelyou Rd. at, Argyle Rd, Brooklyn, NY 11226.

Self-care is essential for maintaining physical, emotional, and mental well-being, especially in demanding roles where stress and burnout are common. By prioritizing self-care, we create space to recharge and prevent exhaustion, improving our ability to manage challenges effectively. It fosters resilience, enhances focus, and helps regulate emotions, which in turn improves decision-making and strengthens relationships. Taking time for self-care is not only an act of  self-compassion but also a way to sustain long-term productivity and balance, ensuring we can show up fully for ourselves and others.
