Presented by Bonnie Stribling
Bonnie Stribling is a certified Peer Recovery Peer Supervisor and a grant manager for the newly formed Office of Substance Abuse and Mental Health at the Department of Human Services. Since 2017, Bonnie has been an active leader in Arkansas’s peer recovery movement. She serves as a consultant and subject matter expert for the Peer Recovery Center of Excellence and the National Association of Peer Supporters. Additionally, she played a key role in establishing the Arkansas Peer Advisory Committee (APAC) and the Arkansas Peer Ethics Review Committee (APERC). In 2019, Bonnie became the first Peer Specialist for the Department of Youth Services at the Department of Human Services. Bonnie earned a concurrent Master of Public Service from the University of Arkansas Clinton School and a Master of Social Work from the University of Arkansas – Little Rock in May 2023. She is dedicated to helping people across Arkansas recognize that recovery is a unique journey for everyone and that every individual deserves the opportunity to discover their own path to recovery.
Outside of her professional commitments, Bonnie enjoys spending quality time with her son, Jack, who lives with her full-time.
